Mange day–to-day operations and approve transactions of the assigned team, within the delegated authorities.
Management of smooth functioning of banking operations within central operations department.
Assist in maximizing profitability by ensuring operations are carried out with maximum efficiency, security, control and that service is provided to both internal and external customers in accordance with agreed service standards.
Critically evaluate all high value transactions, all other irregular, structured, special transactions within the assigned portfolio prior to processing to avoid losses either to the bank or to the customer.
Ensure that all customer transactions are processed within approved limits and that the related transaction charges are recovered as per bank’s service and price guide.
To ensure that all transactions are carried out accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner in accordance with general policies and established procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
University degree in Business administrations, Finance, Accounting, Economics , or equivalent , master degree holders is preferable
10-12 years progressive professional experience, with at least 5 years of managerial experience in a banking or financial institution environment managing a large team with multiple functions
