Job Purpose:
  • To build an economic research capability to meet the bank needs for domestic industry studies, and for forecasting and evaluating economic trends and data.  
  • Drafting economic reports for internal company use and information and for supporting the marketing efforts of the various company divisions, providing in-depth analysis of economic, monetary and financial policy developments in market in which the bank is interested. 
Principal Accountabilities:
  • To prepare quarterly analysis of the banking sector in Saudi Arabia and bank's position and share of the market. 
  • To keep abreast of GCC and all major country economic developments, to produce economic developments, to produce economic analysis and to monitor future development plans and business opportunities.
  • To monitor exchange rate movements, interest rate and international economic trends. 
  • To closely follow all aspects of the international oil trade and its impact on KSA's financial position.
  • To provide regular and timely advice to the Senior Management on national and international economies and financial market developments and their implications for the company's business. 
  • To carry out other projects as assigned by the Chairman and CEO.
Desired Profile :
  • Masters or PhD in Economics.
  • More than 10 years’ experience in related field.
  • Ability to lead, plan and manage change.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English & Arabic.
  • Change management.
  • People management/development.
Key Skills : Up to date knowledge of the markets and economies.
