Job Description
- Contracts Manager is responsible for setting the contractual relationship between the company in Egypt and its Suppliers, Contractors and Vendors for both GSM Network and IT Networks this includes all major interpretation, administration and consultancy activities of each such Contract.
- Responsible for Risk Assessment and Risk Management of Legal and Contractual Relationship of the with all its contracting entities in order to ensure minimizing predicted damages due to unexpected risks by enforcing appropriate provisions of Contracts Articles and/or Clauses Terms & Conditions.
- Working close to both the company Global Legal Management and the company Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) in order to enforce Local Agreements by developing related Contracts of Adherence for the company Global Agreements and getting benefits of agreed upon Products and Services Global Technical Specifications, Global Prices, Global Service Level Agreement (GSLA) and Global Terms Conditions.
- Working close to Support and responding to our Company Procurement Company different inquiries during negotiations and developing of contracts and agreements on behalf of the company in Egypt (Agency Model for Procurement).
Key Activities / Decision Areas
- Contracts Manager has the overall responsibility for Legal, Contractual and Commercial aspects of contracting (Terms and Conditions), Contracts negotiations in conjunction with other company Negotiation Team Members inclusive of Contracts Change Orders, Amendments, Claims, Supplemental Agreements (As Non-Disclosure Agreements "NDA", Letters Of Intent "LOI” and Memorandum Of Agreements "MOA"), and Contract Administration Consultation, if required, by different Technology and Finance Departments.
- Contracts Manager has the authority to enter into change and, if required terminate these Contracts (In accordance with the Schedule of Authorization).
- Working close to Technology Department Projects Teams Engineers for ensuring development and including Project's related technical documents within the Agreement / Contract Document (As Scope of Work, Bill of Material, Technical Specifications, Service Level Agreement, both Project and Support Teams Detailed Organizations, Project Implementation Plan and both Parties Responsibility Matrix.
- Working close to Finance Teams Managers (Within Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Taxation, Insurance and Decision Support Departments) ensuring inclusion of all required commercial aspects of the Project (As Pricing, Invoicing and Payment Terms, Letters of Guarantee and applicable Currency Exchange Rates).
Desired Profile
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Commercial Science.
- Master's Certificate in Global Contracts Management is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Contracts Management (Minimum Fifteen "15" Years).
- Program Management.
- Project Management.
- Financial Control.
- Engineering, Legal and Commercial background.
- Microsoft Office different applications and Microsoft
- Excellent English Language Skills.
- Excellent Negotiation Skills.
- Self-Confident.
