Job Description

  • To oversee and control the overall bad debts recovery and NPA level by ensuring the effectiveness of 
  • To monitor closely the recovery efforts on daily basis.
  • To guide and support remedial for an effective means to achieve high level of recovery to meet the NPA target.
  • To review any restructuring proposal and advise the best practices.
  • To negotiate any NPA settlement’s proposal.
  • To provide business units with feedback to mitigate any potential risks.
  • To review the legal cases’ updates.
  • To approve/recommend the legal fees.
  • To ensure all NPA related reports are submitted on time.
  • To ensure provision report is checked and submitted on time.
  • To ensure that Remedial is functioning within the internal policies and regulatory guidelines. 
  • To control the overall debt collection activities with the aim to prevent the delinquent accounts and      
  • To provide a practical feedback to policies makers on how to strengthen the lending policies.
  • To monitor closely the bad debts recovery initiatives to ensure a high level of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To ensure that all the collection department’s activities are in line with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
  • To coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure a collective efforts and high engagement especially with branches.
  • To report to management the core root causes of difficulties at the time of facilities granting and the measures to avoid future mistakes.
Experience/Skills:
  • Education qualifications: Minimum Diploma and preferably University degree in Banking or Management.
  • Experience : Minimum 10-12 years of banking experience with the following knowledge and  skills;
  • Sound Banking/lending knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of the regulatory guidelines.
  • Good Knowledge of the internal lending policies/procedures and Risk Management principles.
  • Leadership skills.
  • High level of communication in both Arabic and English.
  • Team work and staff motivation.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Good internal and external networking.
