Job Description

  • The position sits within the Premium Servicing Unit (Servicing) area delivering world class services to ultra-high value Card members. The position is required to manage a team of Travel Account Managers (TAMs) situated in Bahrain and the UAE, who provide Premium card members with travel services encompassing flight bookings, hotel reservations, car rentals, cruise bookings, yacht charters, private jet charters and tailor-made travel packages while offering Card member value add benefits/offers on the options provided.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • The key skills required to be successful in the role are excellent people leadership skills, with a strong track record in service delivery.
  • University degree with at least 12 years’ experience in the Travel Industry (Preferably with experience in Luxury Travel and Sabre)
  • Must have 2-3 years’ experience in a Managerial, Supervisory or Team Leader capacity
  • Ideally should be an Arabic speaker and excellent in communicating in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong networking, relationship building and influencing skills - persuasive and confident in his/her dealings with customers and quickly builds rapport and trust, internally and externally.
  • Ability to work autonomously using personal judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Highly self-disciplined with the ability to prioritize tasks based on business requirements and maintain a customer-centric approach to servicing 
  • Strong leadership, coaching, feedback, communication, motivational, planning and time management, mentoring and problem solving techniques
  • Highly motivated driver with a will to win, excellent teamwork, networking, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Should have a thorough knowledge of service organization and delivery, people management (must have demonstrated ability to manage a team of minimum 20), and budget management, at a level appropriate to leading a travel – telephony service team in delivering multiple services at exceptional levels
  • Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems Sabre is highly preferable, 
  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications (Excel & PowerPoint particularly).
