Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall project management function, providing leadership, coordination and management of the PMO processes and functions. 
  • The role serves as a conduit for communication between project managers and the IT executives who make the strategic decisions for those projects. 
  • The head of PMO supervises the team that provides project management support functions and administrative support to project managers. 
  • Key responsibilities include: supporting project managers, facilitating approval for project management deliverables, and managing project management processes and project control specialists.
  • Responsible for establishing and running the Project Management Office with the objective of ensuring all projects are delivered using a ‘best-practice’ Project Delivery Approach and are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality.
  • This role will be three fold, firstly overseeing the portfolio of organisational projects, providing expert knowledge and support and monitoring progress and reporting on the portfolio status. 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree 
  • To be suitable for this opening you will have experience working in a bank, ideally have good understanding of corporate and retail banking. 
  • You will have a strong finance background, backed up by a degree of relevant professional qualifications.
