A business development director also leads sales and client-relationship management, tracks new markets and emerging trends, recommends new products and services, proposes and develops new strategic partnerships, writes proposals and plans, and guides long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements.
Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer relationship activities.
Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
To identify existing markets, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets - and then to go out and exploit those opportunities to bring in more revenue.
Assists in or produces feasibility studies/business plans for new product development.
Monitors external and internal environment for development of new market segments.
Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
A bachelor degree or equivalent.
Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field is a plus.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong business development management experience in the professional services.
Preferably from Banking sector in Mortgage & Real-estate / Life insurance.
