Support the Board of Commissioners (BOC) in achieving the goals and objectives of the bank
Act as a liaison between the BOC and bank’s staff.
Formulate and drive the implementation of the “Short & Long term” Business Strategic Plan.
Build a strong financials of the bank and ensure continuous growth in its balance sheet.
Periodically review and monitor overall bank performance and keep the BOC and Board of Directors (BOD) informed of financial results and bank performance status, banking competition and new business development for strategic directions in order to meet the shareholders objectives.
Lead BOD and provide overall direction for business development, maintenance of performance standards, operating efficiency with specific and measurable goals
Recommend new products and initiative to BOC and its implementation , including appointment of senior level staff , Organization planning , annual operating budget , resources and HR initiatives.
Manage and ensure the smooth functioning of all bank’s operations through smooth flow of information throughout the bank and coordinate various functional operations
Effectively manage, promote and motivate the human capital of the bank in line with approved budget, polices & procedures, direction of Remuneration and Nomination Committee (NRC) and laws and regulations of Indonesia.
Benchmark service delivery against competitor and direct customer service initiatives.
Ensure periodic review of operational budgets to ensure Bank meeting its objectives. Manage cost effective financial budget & manpower budget based on business perspectives. Propose revisions and alternatives when necessary
Facilitate performance and effectiveness of the approved initiatives
Ensuring that a robust risk control framework exists around the business activity to identify, manage, and control market and other risk undertaken within the bank.
Provides advanced corporate legal support to the Bank’s management team and functional teams to avoid litigation where possible without compromising the Bank’s best interest.
Monitor Non-performing Loan resolution with ensure minimal losses.
Ensure adequate and relevant training to all team members.
Periodically evaluate the performance of each business units with feedback sessions and way forward. Identify issues and concerns and resort with appropriate actions.
Skills and Qualifications:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ Finance/ Accounting/ Economics/ Marketing or equivalent.
15-20 years’ experience in banking with at least 5 years’ as Head of business and involved in strategic guided principles and practices in a well-established bank or reputed financial institutions.
Good understanding of credit, compliance and Risk Management.
Proven leadership and management skills
Excellent local network and track record of excellent customer relationship management
Good track record of leading large teams at the country or regional level
Knowledge of Local/Islamic regulations and requirements is desirable but not a must
