Providing expert company secretarial and governance advice, as well as giving key support to the business.
Your responsibilities will be to act as Deputy to the Company Secretary and Director of Corporate Governance & Secretarial, and to collaborate in leading the Bank Corporate Governance and Secretarial team to deliver a consistent approach in dealing with the governance, statutory and administrative affairs and requirements of the Bank group of companies.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the Bank Boards, senior executives and various individual businesses.
Analyzing and identifying Secretarial and Governance risks and assisting in the maintenance of the bank's risk framework.
Providing appropriate business advice, assisting in reviews, and guidance as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Law or Certified Secretary / BA in Management or Banking Degree.
7 years or more in such a post or similar position in a reputable organization.
Excellent communication skills both English and Arabic languages.
Excellent writing and analytical skills especially minutes of meetings.
Experienced in Corporate Governance matters, laws and regulations.
Good knowledge of company secretarial, regulatory or compliance practices and requirements within the financial services industry.
Experienced in drafting policies, procedures and terms of reference.
Hard working, trustworthy, reliable, confident.
Excellent at using Microsoft Power Point and Excel.
The ability to manage a large workload, priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
